The idea is that there are many ways to say the same story (most stories are one and the same, twist here and there, anyway). Yet.

So the question is which title as a whole works?

1. Variations

2. The Cycle

3. The Phil Cycle

What Are You Doing Here

Drugs can destroy your life. I once knew a guy called Phil Paré.

Phil had everything.

Then, one day, two years later, I’m walking down the City street, when I see a ragged wretch of a man.

And I say, Phil Paré, what are you doing here?

Phil Paré died.

What Are You Doing

A man once went by Phil Paré.

Paré had it all.

On a street lay a rag.

Phil, what are you doing?

On the Street

Phil had it all.

On the street.

Phil Got High

I am here to reassure you.

Drugs can destroy your life. Phil Paré had everything.

Then, one day, two years later, I’m walking down the street and I see Phil.

And I say, what are you doing.

The Phil Paré Incident

Phil Paré died.

When he lived, he was a young guy, full of promise.

A guy ended up on the streets of Montreal begging for money to get high.

I was told.

- Hugh Fraser, in memory
